The Tallinn FoodFair 2024, experience by GBE International
As the official sales representative company of several renowned Italian wineries and distinguished food brands in the Baltic States, as well as Northern and Eastern Europe, we have made the strategic decision to participate for the very first time in the Tallinn FoodFair 2024. This decision stems from our desire to gain valuable experience and pursue market expansion. The event represents an excellent opportunity to showcase our brand and a diverse selection of products to the Estonian market, while also establishing meaningful connections with potential B2B partners and private customers alike.
We chose the innovative concept of the pre-built compact stand and thoughtfully organized an inviting wine tasting area, complete with beautiful, elegant glasses, as well as the delightful tasting experience of rich Italian espresso. On the walls of the stand, we carefully placed engaging photo collages made up of vibrant and bright photographs that vividly reflect the diverse activities and high-quality products of the companies we proudly represented.
We were incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to share the stand with our esteemed co-exhibitor, the winery "Paolo Cottini", which beautifully represents the rich history and the intricate art of crafting wine from the heart of the picturesque Valpolicella Classica region.
Over the course of two engaging fair days, we enthusiastically demonstrated to our guests a remarkable selection of products from 10 outstanding wineries, hailing from 6 diverse and unique regions of Italy, which absolutely captivated and won the hearts of our visitors.
In addition to our diverse and impressive wine lineup, our main characters at the stand were a remarkable group of 9 distinguished Italian food companies, which successfully attracted significant attention through their exceptional agricultural production of various fruits and vegetables. Additionally, the unique and high-quality coffee production showcased by the artisanal roasting coffee company further enhanced our offerings, complemented by a traditional and authentically crafted chocolate collection. We also featured several brands of excellent extra virgin olive oil. In addition, the bio-cultivated pomegranates production added a vibrant touch to our display, while the noble durum wheat "Senatore Cappelli" pasta menu highlighted Italy's rich culinary heritage. To round out the experience, we included gourmet cheese selections and other various gastronomic novelties that delighted the senses.
We were truly very satisfied with our premiere appearance at the FoodFair, as we received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the visitors regarding the products we showcased at the fair. Additionally, we gained exciting ideas for potential next steps in our business. Our participation in the fair not only brought us new, valuable leads but also provided us with the unique opportunity to engage and communicate with many interesting people from various countries. Our stand proved to be quite popular among attendees, which made us delighted and brought us an abundance of positive emotions. The majority of our visitors were professionals in the HORECA industry, along with specialists in distribution, retail trade, journalists, and even private customers who have a strong preference for quality, natural products hailing from Italy.
We would like to express our deep and heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated organizers of the Fair, particularly the exceptional ProfExpo Team, for their remarkable ease of communication, warm hospitality, and ongoing support throughout the entire event. We are already enthusiastically planning our participation in the upcoming events, looking forward to the opportunities that lie ahead.
