From the hills of Gubbio at 500 meters above sea level with a particularly temperate climate, in a clayey and calcareous soil, a wine of the right balance with a straw yellow color is born. The delicate and fruity aroma and the elegant and harmonious flavor make it particularly ideal in combination with fish or vegetable first courses.
Cantina Semonte’s passion and skill has helped renew the tradition of wine and Morello cherries in the ancient dioceses of Gubbio and Cantiano.
A Morello cherry-flavoured, ruby, almost garnet red wine with an intense bouquet of sour cherry, and hints of cocoa and roasted hazelnuts.
Excellent paired with aged cheese, plain pastries, soft desserts and dark chocolate.
Wine: Sangiovese – Morello cherries – sugar
ABV: 14°
