QUALITY CLASSIC METHOD BRUT SPARKLING WINE

Grape variety: Pinot Noir 60%, Chardonnay 40%

After a careful selection of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, the classic method of the Semonte Agricultural Company is born. The rigorous winemaking protocols and the long stay on the lees give the wine a character suitable for all occasions. Battista, beloved wife of Federico da Montefeltro (Duke of Urbino born in Gubbio in 1422) and a highly appreciated woman in the Renaissance, gives her name to this sparkling wine.

Aging on the lees: 24 months

Color and Perlage: bright straw yellow. The perlage is fine and persistent

Aroma: fresh bouquet, fruity note of apple, white flowers and yeast fragrance

Taste: fresh, harmonious and balanced

Pairings: perfect for any occasion. Serve at 8-10 °C

Cantina Semonte’s passion and skill has helped renew the tradition of wine and Morello cherries in the ancient dioceses of Gubbio and Cantiano.

A Morello cherry-flavoured, ruby, almost garnet red wine with an intense bouquet of sour cherry, and hints of cocoa and roasted hazelnuts.

Excellent paired with aged cheese, plain pastries, soft desserts and dark chocolate.
