Lidia Elia founded an agricultural company in 2015 with over 50 years of experience in growing citrus fruits. The company, named "I Flavors of Sibari," is located in Calabria, Italy. Lidia's husband, Giuseppe Pulignano, passed on his love for farming to her, inherited from his father Salvatore Pulignano. Together, they cultivate mandarins in the sunny plain of Sibari. Their children are also involved in the family business. The goal is to optimize the land for growing various citrus fruits. They work with 14 different varieties, including clementines, oranges, lemons, bergamot and grapefruits. Every year, they introduce new varieties to have a unique harvest from September to spring. They prepare the plants for the new growing season once production ends.
