Castrum IGT Rosso Veronese
We chose the name “Castrum” as a tribute to “The Castle” located in Castelrotto, a medieval town in Valpolicella. A soft and well round wine obtained from the best Corvina grape variety laid drying for about 30 days. After a long fermentation in Slavonian oak casks, it has been aged in small French oak casks. A meditation wine with complexity suited to be paired with all meat dishes.
Serve at 18°-20°C in large glass.

Appearance
Dark garnet red with ruby reflections.
Nose
Spicy and orange aromas, with vanilla, anise and nutmeg that anticipate white pepper, hazelnuts, almonds, touches of dark chocolate and toasted coffee; the ample bouquet is completed by a sweet finish of cherry and blackberry jam.
Taste
The freshness is masked by alcohol and a vital and round tannin. Intensely spicy aftertaste.
